2021 Bet on Silver Stamp is here!

The brand new Bet on Silver stamp is scheduled to release very soon but before it does, let’s go over current stamps already in existence. There is two Bet on Silver stamps and one “BOS” which was the very first one. I will go over each stamp one-by-one.

BOS Classic

#8042020

The very first stamp of Bet on Silver was the BOS stamp. It was ordered on Ebay, and it was actually designed by the Ebay store owner. I had no idea what I was doing and just that I wanted a stamp for my silver. The stamp design consist of the letter “BOS” in the center, which is the call letters for Bet on Silver, with the words “Est. 2019” across the top, and “.999FS” along the bottom. As I look back at my catalog of pours I clearly was focused on pour lines back then, which by the way is the heart and soul of pouring silver. I like to refer to these bars and the BOS Classic Pours. Stamped best on a 2 troy ounce bar with ripple lines like the one in the picture.

Support the Pour

The “Support the Pour” stamp was released in April 2020. This is a fan favorite as it boast the iconic Monopoly figure, “Rich Uncle Penny Bags.” However on the contrary, Rich Uncle Penny Bags has his pockets inside out and the palms empty signifying he’s broke. Above, reads “Support the Pour” and below reads “BOS Pours .999 Fine Silver.” The inspiration for this stamp was simple. Support small business, especially during the pandemic.

Best appearance when stamped on a 1 troy ounce round, obverse side.

Keep it Classy

Last but not least is the “Keep it Classy” silver button. The stamp is my personal favorite because it introduces two things that I love so much. First, my dachshund Kenny Boy who is shown in the stamp drinking a Martini because he’s classy. Second, is the phrase “Keep it Classy,” which is my signature sign off from the Silver Penny Podcast.

This stamp is best used on the reverse side of a 1 troy ounce button.

As mentioned, Bet on Silver is near yet another stamp release. Here is some insight on the new design. The stamp was 34 years in the making. If you are a Gen-x’er then you will immediately relate to the fine silver impression. It was only an illegal kick, if it gets called! I practically just gave it away!
