With the JK Audio Adapter Cable, you can literally broadcast from anywhere.
It’s happened to the best of us. We walk into an unfamiliar press box ready to call a game and the phone line doesn’t work. Or, it works but you need a special code that no one seems to know. Or maybe it’s phone system that requires additional numbers to reach an outside line. And, maybe there is just no phone line period!
Honestly, not being able to get my play-by-play and color guys on the air is my worst fear ever. However, I am proud to say in the ten years I have been broadcasting and engineering sports broadcast, I have never failed to get on the air (I’ve gotten on late a couple of times though!), and a huge part of that is due to the JK Audio Adapter Cable.
The JK Audio Adapter Cable “is a four conductor 3.5 mm headset adapter cable, which is compatible with most iPhones, Android phones and notebook computers. It allows audio to be sent through the headset jack of smartphones and notebooks, which facilitates sending and receiving of voice band audio during regular calls, or full bandwidth audio using third party codec applications.” In simple terms, when there is no phone line available to call out to your station, the JK Audio Adapter Cable allows you to connect your JK Audio Mixer, to your cell phone, which in return allows you to use your cell phone to call the station to get your broadcast on the air.
Check out the quick video on how simple the JK Audio Adapter is to set-up and use!
The Jk Audio Adapter Cable is best used with the JK Audio RemoteMix 4 Portable Broadcast Mixer, (which when bought brand new, it comes with one), and the older model JK Audio RemoteMix Sport Remote, (which does not come with one).
If you don’t have one here is the link to get your JK Audio Adapter Cable, and to having a peace of mind that you not be denied getting on air ever again!!!
The JK Audio Adapter Cable is recommended use for JK Audio products only and can not be guaranteed to work for any other products than JK Audio.
